Submission Guidelines

Manuscript Preparation:

  • Research Articles – Full-length papers of up to 4000-6,000 words containing results of original research.
  • Research Notes – Typically 3,000-5,000 words. They are not full academic papers but are discussion notes seeking to advance a new idea, theoretical perspective, research programme, or methodological approach in organization studies. This category is a vehicle for specific types of material that merit publication, but do not require all the ‘normal’ components of a full research article. It might also be relevant where it is not necessary to repeat the literature review, methodology, etc.
  • Features –To give the reader a chance to more fully understand some interesting dimension of the subject as it deals with a subject in greater depth and, usually, at greater length.
  • Book Review– To cover an overview of the contents of the book as well as a critical account of the book, i.e. its merits and its shortcomings. The length of the text should be around 1,400-1,800 words. 
  • Short articles – Typically 300 to 400 words which provide the necessary information on the subject area in brief.
  • Special issues – This involves publishing articles generated from a workshop, symposium, or conference focusing on specific themes, often related to a “hot topic” in that particular field of research.

Language: The language of the manuscript must be in English, selected abstract will be published in Arabic (either American or British standard, but not a mixture of both).

Length of paper: The length of the paper should not exceed 25 pages (Times New Roman, 12 Font) excluding tables, figures, references, and appendices (if any). Paper containing more than 25 pages words will be returned to the author(s) to abridge. Articles should be typed in double-space (including footnotes and references) on one side of the paper only (preferably A4) with wide margins. Authors are urged to write as concisely as possible, but not at the expense of clarity.

Title Page: The title page should include the article title, full affiliation(s), and email address(s) of the authors. It is strongly recommended to use an official email address. The editorial team will be communicating with the corresponding author exclusively for any query or request.

Manuscript format: Manuscripts of papers will be uploaded and collected using paper management system (Easy chair). All author(s) should register prior to the paper submission. All the manuscripts should be submitted in the format described below as Microsoft Word or LaTex file with the title and name of the corresponding author. Use a single column, double-spaced text Leave a margin of 1.25 inch on all side Use 12 point Times New Roman font Ensure that the pages are numbered The manuscript should be prepared in English as per the following guidelines for different sections.

Abstract: The abstract shall be should have one paragraph consisting of 250 Words. It should include a short summary of the research objectives, methodology, and major findings. Please avoid using abbreviations, footnotes, references, and mathematical equations. Three to five keywords may be added to facilitate the operation of search at the end of the abstract.

Keywords:  Please provide 4 to 6 keywords which can be used for indexing purposes.

Sections of the manuscript: Manuscript’s Major Heading and Sub-Heading should be written in Bold fonts and lower case. The numbering of the Major headings and Sub-headings should be done consecutively using Arabic numerals.

Citations:  In the body of your paper, give the surname of the author and the date of publication. (For a web site, give the organization as the author). Also, give the page number if you quote or paraphrase.

Graphics: All the Images used must be in High Resolution, figures, lines, and drawings should be clear and cited properly. Figures captions should be located below and numbered according to the main heading (e.g. Figure 5.3 consecutively). Moreover, it should be referred to in the text

Tables: All the tables used must be double spaced (not an image) with a caption on the top. The caption should have a clear and reflective title and should be numbered consecutively. The figure should be cited in the text in the order as they appear in the manuscript.

Equations: All equations which are used in the article must be written in separate lines and numbered consecutively according to its appearance. Equation’s Number should be written between parentheses using Arabic numerals. Font size, alignment must be similar to the manuscript text.

Abbreviations: Standard Abbreviation in the Domain can be used. However, it is strongly recommended to avoid using lengthy ones. Author(s) can define the abbreviation(s) when used in the text the first time.

System of units:  All system units must be in SI (Metric) Units.

Acknowledgement: Acknowledge part is included to describe and acknowledge any source of funding, contributions, or facilitations given through conduction of the research. All types of technical, scientific, and administrative are welcomed to be included in the acknowledgement

References/ Bibliography: There must be a reference list including all those references cited in the text. References should be in full and should provide the reader with the information required to retrieve and examine the cited reference. Unpublished results and personal communication are not recommended in the reference list but may be mentioned in the text. If these references are included in the reference list, they should follow the standard reference style of the journal. Citation of a reference as “in press” implies that the item has been accepted for publication. The following guidelines are used for references: Cited references must be placed in sequential numerical order. Author’s first and middle names should use initials. If same author(s) are cited for more than one article, Please arrange the titles chronologically All journal titles abbreviations such as Jr of must be in italics, followed by the year with a comma. Books titles has to be in italics, followed by Edition Number, Publisher, Place of publication, Year and the Page number.

Submission Preparation Checklist: The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration. The submission file is in Microsoft Word file/ PDF format. The manuscript has been made in the light of Journal’s author guidelines. Author(s) did not mention his or her name and affiliation in the main text Author (s) has mentioned the name of the journal (in which the author is interested to publish) in the title page. Author(s) has read all the terms and conditions of the journal. The author is aware of the publication fee of the journal
